A little more about me
The way I started loving makeup was through multiple things:
It all started with the Syfy TV series Face Off. The Show Face Off was a tv show about a bunch of makeup artists around the world, makeup schools, self-taught wherever, compete each other and becoming the makeup artist champion, and as I was watching this I was fascinated and intrigued and how people can turn something that is unordinary and unique to real life. And finally, it was me becoming an artist and my makeup school L'makeup Institute. I was a sophomore in High school and I always love to draw fantasy characters and was learning how to animate (which I still love to draw and still teaching myself to animate) and my school was doing a career fair. so I was checking it out and I found a table that had an amazing Pinhead Mask and wanted to look at it and the woman that was running the counter was telling me about a school that teaches people how to do different types of makeup and becoming certified makeup artists. So I wrote down my info on their interest form, and around my senior year of high school, I received an application from the school saying to do three makeup looks and submit online and will get back to you as soon as possible. Now around senior year, I knew more about makeup and a little bit about SFX but I was very nervous and everything thanks to my family and friend and their support I got into the school. So I learned, it was tedious because I had to pay attention to detail and getting models, and figuring out what look I wanted to do for my makeup exams, but was very fun and amazing I met a lot of good friends that are also makeup artists, models, photographers, etc. and on the day of my birthday I officially graduated and finished at L'makeup institute. Now I am a freelance makeup artist, a full-time student at UNT (University of North Texas ) getting my bachelors for Theatre.
